Pada hari ini selasa 11 Februari 2020 Dekan FMIPA Universitas Negeri Malang telah mengadakan Pendandatanganan Perjanjian kerjasama antara FMIPA UM dengan Universitas Lancang Kuning dalam bentuk Kegiatan penyelenggaraan kegiatan magang dosen, tenaga kependidikan, dan mahasiswa, penugasan dosen pembina, penelitian, penyelenggaraan kegiatan seminar nasional dan internasional, pendidikan yang ada di FMIPA UM.
Dr. HERLINAWATI, M.Ed : Dekan Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Lancang Kuning dalam hal ini bertindak untuk dan atas nama Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Lancang Kuning yang berkedudukan di Kampus Unilak Jalan Yos Sudarso KM.08 Rumbai, Pekanbaru, Riau untuk selanjutnya dalam perjanjian ini disebut sebagai PIHAK KESATU.
Setelah selesai penandatanganan kerjasama acara dilanjutkan dengan pertukaran cindera mata dan foto bersama.

Pada hari ini, Kamis, 13 Februari 2020 FMIPA UM menerima kunjungan dari SMA 12 Tangerang kelas XI jumlah 150 siswa dan pendamping dalam kunjungannya salah satu perwakilannya menyampaikan maksut dan tujuannya untuk mengenal lebih jauh tentang FMIPA UM dan ingin mengetahui bagaimana cara masuk ke UM.Kemudian Kasubag Akademik yang mewakili Wakil Dekan 3 menjelaskan tentang proses yang harus di lalui untuk bisa diterima di Fakultas MIPA Universitas Negeri Malang yang pertama harus mengikuti jalur SNMPTN, SBMPTN dan jalur Mandiri, apabila sudah diterima banyak fasilitas yang bisa di manfaatkan untuk Mahasiswa dari berbagai Beasiswa yang tersedia kata Ir.Nurul Hamid.Lebih lanjut beliau menjelaskan tentang jurusan yang ada di Fakultas dan proses belajar yang ada di dalamnya dan fasilitas yang ada di Fakultas MIPA, dan acara di tutup dengan saling tukar cindera mata dan foto bersama.
